Postnatal yoga with your baby



Would you like some time for yourself, together with your baby, gaining strength and relaxation after your pregnancy? Then come together with your newborn and try postnatal yoga with Jeannette!

After the baby is born, you can join, together with your baby, a mother and baby yogaclass. These classes are designed to work on your own recovery and together with your baby you will perform excersises and massaging techniques that will enhance your bonding.

You will work to rebuild your condition and with especially designed excercises work on recovery and enhancement of your pelvic floor muscles and abdominal muscles. Furthermore, development of your baby is taken into account and ways to stimulate the development. Also, several techniques will be demonstrated that might help to relieve cramps in baby's belly.

Deep relaxation of the parent can help to cope with sleep deprivation and stress with which every new parent is confronted. Ways to relax, together with your baby, will help you and your baby to relax and find a new balance and (sleeping)rhythm.


Mother & Baby yoga is available as a series of four consecutive classes of one hour. The next upcoming series will start on 25 augustus 2017.

This class is for mothers and baby's starting from 6-8 weeks until the baby starts to crawl. The yoga classes are suitable for beginners, there is no need for experience with yoga. Also, if you participated somewhere else during your prgnancy you can join these classes.

Feel welcome to join this postnatal yoga class together with your baby. In this class you will work on your own recovery and together with your baby you will learn exercises and massage techniques which will strengthen your bonding.

English spoken class is possible. The main language is Dutch and the teacher will be able to give verbal adjustments in English if necessary. When there are sufficient participants, a separate class in English may be started. Please inquire for the possibilities.


Allow yourself with postnatal yoga each week a moment for yourself during which you will enhance your strength and flexibility, to come at ease and relax, so you may experience unity in your body and mind, and bonding with your baby.

Mother & Baby yoga is available as a series of four consecutive classes of one hour. This course will start with at least two participants.

Costs: 50 €*
*NB: in case you have any classes left on your prenatal class card, you may use these for this postnatal class. Please contact Yoga met Jeannette in case you lack classes to follow the complete course of four lessons.
